Clearing that starts with a walk, not a bulldozer
Every clearing job starts with us walking the property with you. We flag the live oaks, cedar elms and pecans that stay, mark the lines that matter, and agree on exactly what the finished ground should look like before a machine is unloaded.
Most of the work is done with a tracked mulcher that cuts brush and small trees at grade and leaves the mulch in place. Where a site needs to be grubbed for a foundation or a road base, we bring an excavator to pull the root balls instead.

From first call to final walk

What sets the price of land clearing
Every property is different, so we don't quote blind. After a free visit you get one fixed price in writing, based on:
- Acreage and how thick the brush is
- Tree size and species mix
- Slope, rock and access for a trailer
- Mulch at grade, or grubbed and root-raked
Land Clearing questions
Do I need a permit to clear my land?
On rural county land a clearing permit is rarely needed. Inside city limits some trees are protected, for example the City of Austin protects trees 19 inches in diameter and larger. We check your address before we quote.
Will you save the trees I want to keep?
Yes. We flag them with you on the walk and the operator works around every flag. Selective clearing is the majority of our work.
What happens to the stumps?
With mulching, stumps are cut flush with the ground and left to break down. If you are building, we grub the area and remove the root balls.
How long does clearing take?
Light brush can go several acres a day. Thick cedar or rocky slopes are slower. Your written quote includes the number of working days.
